Acuren is currently seeking an IRATA Rope Access NDT Technician with UT1/MT/PT to support our client site NWR on a full time basis. Position Information:

  • 2 year contract
  • Tuesday to Friday (10 hours per day)
  • Paid travel
  • Candidates must be local to Edmonton/surround area or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods. 
  • Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. 
  • Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with Clients. 

Requirements

  • CGSB UT1, MT, PT (Required)
  • IRATA Rope Access or willingness to obtain (Required)
  • CGSB UT2, API 510, 570 (considered an asset)
  • Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
