Acuren is currently looking for a Site Administrator to join us in a full-time capacity, to support operations on our client sites in Sparwood, BC.

  • Full-Time Position
  • Monday-Friday - 8 hrs per day (40 hrs/week)
  • Salary range for this postion is CA$30.00 /hour
  • This position can be based in either Sparwood, BC or Richmond, BC.  Candidates must be local to these areas to be considered for the positions. 
  • The role will follow a hybrid work model, combining both on-site and work-from-home arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Daily review of timesheets for contract and union compliance
  • Daily timesheet entry into internal system
  • Weekly time entry review in internal system
  • Resolve pay issues or errors with site employees, escalate as necessary
  • Booking hotels and flights as required
  • Log hotel and flight bookings for cost tracking
  • Support onboarding of new employees (booking orientations/site access requests/pre-access D&A requests/safety training)
  • Cost reporting on daily/weekly basis depending on client requirements
  • Third party invoice tracking
  • Managing client purchase order spend

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a finance or administrative role, including site-based experience within a related industry
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Outlook and Excel
  • Experience working with client information systems, including payroll, time and attendance platforms
  • Hands-on experience with timesheet processing, job costing, and payroll support functions
  • Previous experience coordinating travel and camp accommodations
  • Working knowledge of additional client-specific systems is considered an asset
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, JD Edwards, or similar) is an asset
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including invoicing, expense management, and cost tracking
