The Corporate Development Manager, Integration Leader supports the organization’s strategic growth initiatives through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and business integration efforts. In the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Solutions industry, this role involves identifying and evaluating acquisition targets, conducting financial and operational due diligence, coordinating deal execution, and supporting post-merger integration to drive long-term value creation. A core focus will be integrating the businesses so they feel like a part of the TiC Solutions (Acuren/NV5) organization which is critical to our success.

Working across the business to bring people, plans, and priorities together. We are looking for a strong collaborator and relationship builder who can connect teams, create alignment, and keep complex initiatives moving. This role is less about prior operations experience and more about your ability to influence, organize, and drive execution across the different functional leaders responsible for Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Safety, Commercial, etc.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments and enjoys bringing order to complexity. You’ll often be managing multiple integrations at once, with shifting priorities and timelines, so comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action are essential. You don’t need to be the deepest technical expert but you do need to be someone who can connect dots, build momentum, and get things done through others.

Work details:

  • Hybrid role out of our Houston, TX or Oakville, ON offices, or another Center of Excellence in Canada or the United States
  • Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours/week
  • The role requires significant travel (50%+)

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the TIC integration playbook, defining what we integrate, when, and how
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure milestones are met and priorities stay aligned
  • Act as the connective tissue across functional teams, building relationships, trust and alignment
  • Learn from each integration and incorporate improvements into our playbook going forward
  • Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and help teams solve problems quickly
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with leadership
  • Other work duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior integration experience not required, but prior experience in leading or supporting M&A transactions from sourcing to integration is considered an asset
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Strong relationship builder who can influence without direct authority
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to bring teams together
  • Interest in operations and how the business runs end-to-end
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive follow-through
  • Clear, confident communicator
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary
  • Annual Bonus Plan
  • Medical, dental, and supplemental insurance
  • 401K Plan
  • Paid Holidays
  • Paid Time Off

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Collaboration with global and regional teams across corporate, operational, and functional areas.
  • Exposure to confidential and sensitive business information requiring discretion and professionalism.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS:

  • Ability to work in a professional office environment with extended periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, video conference, and in-person meetings.
  • Travel (50%+) will be required for meetings, site visits, and due diligence activities.
