Position Summary

Acuren is seeking a qualified NDT Technician (MT / PT) to support inspection activities on industrial projects in the Sarnia, ON region. The successful candidate will perform non-destructive testing in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and client service.

 

  • This is a call-out position based in the Sarnia, ON area, and local candidates are required.
  • Compensation is $41.25 per hour, based on certifications and in accordance with the QCCC agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods, including Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT).

  • Conduct inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures, ensuring accurate and reliable results.

  • Document and report inspection findings clearly and accurately to support project and quality requirements.

  • Follow established quality and safety processes, ensuring work meets project timelines and operational expectations.

  • Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades.

  • Maintain professional and positive working relationships with clients while representing the company on site.

  • Support a safety-first work environment and contribute to continuous improvement in inspection practices and field operations.

Requirements

  • Level 2 MT and PT certifications
  • Valid driver’s licence

  • IRATA Level 1 certification
