Acuren Wind Canada Inc. is seeking a professional, energetic and forward-thinking Health and Safety Coordinator. This position will be located in our Goderich, ON office and will support work in various locations throughout Canada.

The HSE Coordinator supports the implementation and oversight of health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations. This role conducts site inspections, assists with incident investigations, facilitates training, and tracks corrective actions while promoting a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and overall operational compliance.
Conduct regular field safety audits and track results
Provide safety oversight during shutdowns and site-based work
Implement and monitor safety control measures
Identify and address site-specific safety risks
Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions
Support initiatives to improve safety performance trends
Assist the Manager with priority health and safety action items
Promote and reinforce the Company Safety Management System (SMS)
Deliver safety training and toolbox sessions
Coach field personnel to strengthen compliance and safe work practices
Ensure compliance with Canadian and provincial safety regulations
Maintain accurate safety records and reporting systems
Provide reliable safety metrics to support monthly reporting
Contribute to ongoing improvements of the Safety Management System
Other duties as assigned.
NCSO designation or post-secondary diploma/degree in Occupational Health & Safety
RSP certification (or working toward certification) considered an asset
Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or construction environment
NDT experience considered an asset
Renewable energy experience considered an asset
Bilingual communication skills considered an asset
Strong knowledge of provincial Occupational Health & Safety legislation and regulations
Ability to interpret standards, regulations, and relevant case law
Solid understanding of ISO compliance programs and Safety Management Systems (SMS)
Experience applying root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to coach, influence, and drive safe work behaviors
Effective collaboration and communication skills
Commitment to enforcing compliance with company safety policies and procedures
