Acuren is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician for supporting operations in the Atalntic Region, Saint John NB. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.
The successful applicant will primarily focus on CAD work but will also be required to travel to major maintenance shutdowns and turnaround projects to provide field resource support. This support may include CAD drafting, word processing, data entry, and data analysis.
This role combines responsibilities across CAD, field resource support, and basic computer/IT services, requiring a broad and adaptable skill set.
Technical Skills
Intermediate to advanced 2D drafting experience in AutoCAD (currently using AutoCAD LT 2020).
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (2003 or later).
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Basic computer hardware knowledge with the ability and willingness to develop these skills further.
Communication & Organizational Skills
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
