Acuren Wind CA is currently recruiting for an Operations Administrator to support their team in Goderich, ON.

Responsibilities

Position Details:

 

Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for various operational tasks to support our organization. This includes planning, scheduling and dispatching technical staff in a timely manner to meet the needs of customer work requests. The Operations Administrator will collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient communication.

 

This position will be based in the Goderich office and will be responsible for supporting the Acuren Wind Canada division.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Balancing work demands and customer needs to efficiently plan and schedule technical staff work assignments.
  • Ensuring technical staff possess the skills and expertise needed to perform the available work.
  • Recommending individuals for specific training and development opportunities to improve functional utilization.
  • Maintaining and updating the roster of technical staff.
  • Ensuring technical staff are provided with all necessary tools and equipment to perform the work.
  • Providing technical staff with clear communications/information regarding their work assignments.
  • Schedule all travel and accommodations to support deployment staff, ensuring compliance with company and travel policy guidelines.
  • Schedule and coordinate safety training sessions for employees ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collect and input all training certifications into proprietary software, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Additional tasks as requested by operations.

 

Requirements:

  • The candidates we seek will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in operations and/or administrative experience.
  • Secondary education Office Administration Certificate/Diploma/Degree is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook and internet applications is a must.
  • Previous experience successfully working within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, identify problems and provide solutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Superior English competency is required; French competency is considered an asset.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
