We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This role can be based in either Tomball, Texas or Sherwood Park, Alberta, and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in financial management, reporting, and process improvement.

• Ensuring that accounting practices are in conformance with US GAAP
• Managing the month end close process for US operations
• Posting journal entries
• Reconciliation of inter-company activity
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance and financial statement analysis
• Oversight of sales & use tax filings as well as audits when necessary
• Ensure the integrity of internal controls
• Responsible for the accuracy of global fixed asset accounting
• Responsible for global rent payment schedule & ASC 842 lease accounting
• Assistance with Annual audit
• Supervision of staff
• Additional duties as assigned

• CPA required
• 7+ years accounting experience 
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of accounting systems; experience with SAGE500 & SAGE Fixed Assets preferred
• Detail oriented
