Acuren is currently looking for a highly motivated Regional Finance Manager to join our out team.   • The role will work on-site in our Richmond, BC. office
  • Monday to Friday, 8 Hrs.day.
  • Salary range is $90,000 to $110,000/year depending on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

  • Daily supervision and oversight of administrative staff
  • Monitor and manage administrator timelines for payroll and invoicing to ensure processes are completed and stay on track week to week.
  • Regular monitoring of workloads per staff – shift workloads to maintain balance among team as needed.
  • Regular review and development of administrative processes (payroll, invoicing, document control, etc.) to ensure the best practices that promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Controller to optimize standardization.
  • Manage 3rd party invoicing portals to maintain administrative access levels, monitor for rejected submissions, provide administrator support and training as needed.
  • Have a solid understanding of time entry for payroll and billing, data and set-ups to provide guidance and support to administrators, controllers, and operations.
  • Problem solving and trouble-shooting payroll, invoicing, and accounts payable.
  • Monitor major client system entries to ensure timelines are maintained.

Requirements

  • University or post-secondary degree or diploma with focus on Accounting,
  • Professional Accounting Designation or working toward one of the following CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant progressive experience, in the industrial or commercial sector, and preferably in a unionized environment
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company is an asset
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of service line and project-specific contract provisions
  • Skilled in interpreting and applying accounting and auditing principles
  • Strong leadership/managerial experience
  • Strong computer and systems skills
  • Can liaise with internal and external clients to clarify information and address concerns
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and comply with the responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, as well as Acuren's mandate on healthy and safe environment
