Acuren is currently seeking  Tubular Data Analyst - Project Managers to support our Tubular Division. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

Responsibilities

As the Tubular Data Analyst - Project Managers you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that involve evaluating the integrity of materials and structures without causing damage.

  • Conduct complex and advanced NDT inspections, interpreting and analyzing test results to identify defects or inconsistencies.
  • Utilize advanced NDT equipment and software to perform detailed inspections and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Offer expert advice on material properties, failure mechanisms, and the selection of appropriate NDT methods for specific applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for NDT-related issues, including recommending corrective actions and improvements in testing processes.
  • Create detailed inspection plans and procedures based on industry standards and specific project requirements.
  • Select appropriate NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing) for different materials and structures.
  • Provide support for training NDT technicians, ensuring they are knowledgeable in various testing techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • CGSB EC Level 2 Certification
  • ET/RFT/NFT/IRIS experience
  • Magnify/TubePro Software Experience is preferred but will train if required
  • 3-5 years experience as a Analyst/Project/Shift Lead
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment
  • Experience in report writing
  • Strong work ethics
  • Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness 
  • Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
  • Valid driver's license
