Tacten is currently recruiting for IRATA Rope Access Pipefitters to support our client sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas.This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a growing division within Tacten. Do you have experience working as a Pipefitter and are certified in rope access or interested in becoming certified? If so, apply today!

 

  • Long term maintenance and project work available
  • Project work will run from May 13th to July 11th at Nova Chem in Joffre
  • Candidates must be local to Edmonton or surrounding area for maintenance positions
  • LOA provided for project work
  • IRATA training provided

Responsibilities

  • Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders 
  • Be conversant with relevant work techniques 
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of the pipefitting trade
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of Level I 
  • Assist other technicians as required 
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment 

Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Journeyman Pipefitting Certification Required
  • IRATA Level 1 required, or willingness to obtain. Ability to hire those with IRATA Level 2 and 3 as well.

Safety Certifications

  • CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
  • CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry)
  • ESC Fall Protection an asset
